Checklist for the Sandwich Generation Seminar To Be Held On October 14, 2010

The Trusts and Estates Practice Group is pleased to sponsor an educational seminar this fall specifically designed to address the concerns of the "Sandwich Generation." Lynn McPhelimy, a nationally recognized author of the book "In the Checklist of Life," will facilitate the program. She is a motivational speaker who has appeared on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" and "The Today Show." She is "known for her warmth, humor and practical approach to dealing with caregiving situations."

Participants will take away practical advice and a list of helpful resources to assist in managing the day-to-day responsibilities of caring for an aging family member, as well as dealing with the demands of family and work. Topics include effective decision making with an elder, care planning, financing care, estate planning, geriatric care management, and a host of other issues that arise in caring for the elderly. Because every situation is unique, there will be ample opportunity for questions and answers.
