Stephen P. Fogerty

Attorney Fogerty is the Managing Partner of the firm's Fairfield County office, located in Westport, Connecticut. He was board certified by the National Board of Trial Attorneys as a civil trial advocate in 1995 and is also a member of the prestigious American Board of Trial Advocates.  In 2011 he was appointed to serve on the United States District Court, District of Connecticut, Federal Grievance Committee.

 

Over more than two decades, Mr. Fogerty has distinguished himself as defense counsel in some of the largest and most complex civil cases in Connecticut. An accomplished trial and appellate attorney, he is also adept at resolving high-stakes disputes through negotiation and mediation. His broad range of experience encompasses commercial disputes, labor and employment matters, governmental entity liability, professional malpractice, and all types of personal injury litigation. In addition to his active trial practice, Mr. Fogerty serves as counsel to a number of corporations, providing guidance during troublesome business situations ranging from commercial disputes to labor and employment issues.

 

Mr. Fogerty is also a certified mediator. He received his training at the Cornell Institute on Conflict Resolution in New York and the Institute for Conflict Management in California.
