Attorney Maher has extensive experience in all aspects of finance and commercial real estate, as well as corporate transactions.  His business and finance practice involves advising many commercial enterprises and, as a result, Mr. Maher's practice spans several of the Firm's specialized practice areas. 

Mr. Maher's training and experience includes a wide variety of industries from institutional investors and real estate development and workouts, to industrial companies and new technology companies.  From this base, Mr. Maher focuses on complex commercial finance and corporate transactions and represents institutional lenders and borrowers in commercial real estate transactions, corporate loans and private placements throughout the United States. He has extensive experience in workouts of debt and equity investments, financial restructurings and asset dispositions, as well as many types of commercial and corporate transactions. Mr. Maher's practice also involves corporate acquisitions and divestitures for clients across a range of industries, including energy generation, manufacturing and  retail.

He is a member of the Real Estate Finance Association, the Connecticut Venture Group and is the past-Chairmen of the Young Lawyers Section on Real Property and Land Use Committee of the Connecticut Bar Association. He has written and lectured on various topics concerning real estate investment and workouts.
